Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026. Autonomously You is the data controller.
What we collect
Account information (name, email, authentication). Identity and memory you import or create (conversations you upload, approved facts, projects, ideas, preferences, decisions). Billing records processed by Stripe. Product usage that does not include the text of your memories (for example, that a page was viewed).
Why we collect it
To create and maintain your Autonomously You identity, operate Ask AY, bill your membership, secure the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Which AI providers can receive approved context
When you use Ask AY, Autonomously You may send a compact packet of memories you have approved and marked shareable to a model provider we operate on your behalf: OpenAI, xAI (Grok), Anthropic (Claude), or Google (Gemini). You do not bring your own keys. Private and never-share memories are never included.
Retention
We keep account and identity data while your account is open. After you delete your account, we remove customer identity data from production systems except records we must keep for billing, security, or law (for example, invoices). Backups age out on a rolling schedule.
Subprocessors
Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (authentication and database), and the AI providers named above when Ask AY is used. Those companies process data only to provide their services to us.
Deletion and export
You can forget a memory, remove a source, export your identity, or delete your account from the privacy center. You may also email privacy@autonomouslyyou.com or use our data deletion page.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect the session. Analytics, when enabled, record product events without memory statements or chat contents. See Cookies.
U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of California and other U.S. states with similar laws may request access, correction, deletion, and a copy of personal information, and may appeal a denial. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email privacy@autonomouslyyou.com. We will not discriminate for exercising these rights.
International users
Autonomously You is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Children
The service is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Customer tables use row-level security so one account cannot read another. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Provider keys stay on our servers. See Security.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the product or by email when we have an address for you.
